These 20 minute training programs were developed to train offshore workers in the safe operation and best practices required when conducting personnel transfers using the Billy Pugh Company’s X-904 transfer device or the “traditional” collapsible transfer basket. Each program is specific to the basket type and incorporates best practices derived from multiple industry sources.

• Offshore Marine Service Association (OMSA) “Best Practices Guide for the Transfer of Employees by Personnel Basket”

The programs include written Facilitator Guides with test questions, and are ideal for training personnel that may be required to utilize the X-904 or a traditional basket to transfer to, or from, offshore facilities. Current employees, contractors, and future employees will all benefit from the new information provided in the training program.
